One Piece AMV: "Memories of Luffy"

This is a nice AMV mainly because it features a lot of sentimental One Piece moments. No big action sequences or clips of Zoro beaten to a bloody pulp. On top of this, they use the All American Rejects "It Ends Tonight" which admittedly, I find kind of catchy... So sue me.

Zoro AMV: Broken Dream

Here's a nice (and short) AMV featuring Zoro! It has a lot of great action clips from several of the Pirate Hunter's fight scenes. The music is a prime example of butt rock which is not my favorite, but Zoro makes almost anything good...

Episode 490 release date announced!

It looks like One Piece 490 is to be released in Japan on Sunday, March 20th which means it will be released in the states late on Saturday the 19th.

Whew... Now I can stop worrying about it. Let's just hope that this information is reliable and keep our fingers crossed.

All of My Dreams AMV

Still no One Piece episode 490... Bummer.

In the meantime, here's a short and sweet One Piece AMV made by SupernovaeLaw. The editing is solid and the song choice is the usual fair of high tempo, heart-pounding, good to work out to, kind of music... aka perfect for One Piece AMVs. My one critique is the choice to use footage from 'Sanji vs the Noodle Guy' instead of clips from 'Sanji vs the Wolf Guy.'

Either way... It's a thumbs up from me.

Fight The Power!

Let me start by saying that I love this video... Bravo to the uploader!

At first it doesn't seem to quite jive, and I'd have preferred it if they had edited out the subtitles... I think this is ultimately an unfair judgment. When the horn fanfare hits in the song the whole thing just lights up. The fantastic fight sequence is just icing on the cake.

One Piece at a time... plus "Come on, Rookies!" video

My thoughts go out to the Japanese in this time of terrible strife. I can't help but feel mildly selfish when I ask for the safe and speedy delivery of One Piece 490. I know a lot of suffering fans out there could use a little cheering up. Am I right? I think so...

I came across this fan video the other day when I wanted to see some "Rookie" footage. It's a nice compilation and the editing is very clean. It still manages to be a little cheesey in parts (the text animation is no bueno). If nothing else, it'll make you want to go back and watch a few clips.
